First Reconciliation and First Communion Preparation
Typically, preparation for these two sacraments takes place during a student’s time in 2nd grade. They will attend classes on Wednesday nights during the faith formation year, attend two learning center days and participate in regular Masses and Youth Masses. First Holy Communion takes place every spring. Students will complete First Reconciliation prior to First Holy Communion.
If your child is older and hasn't yet received his/her first sacraments then we ask that you contact Callie our DRE and we will come up with a plan together.

Confirmation preparation- Wednesday nights
Confirmation preparation at Ss. Peter and Paul is completed during the students 9th grade year and they receive the sacrament in the Spring of that year. The Purpose curriculum used for our confirmation classes is 24 sessions with a heavy focus on evangelizing young people and accompanying them as they become disciples.
Preparation also involves students learning about and implementing the Works of Mercy, attending a retreat, participating in weekly and Youth Masses and participating in the sacrament of reconciliation.
